Hello, JD team.
I've been unable to search downloads or linkgrabber lists for a while now. Pressing ctrl + F does not have any effect. The only recent changes I think I made to my JD was implementing the dark theme from this github repo **External links are only visible to Support Staff****External links are only visible to Support Staff**. (Could be a coincidence but I thought I'd mention it anyway.) How can I turn the search feature back on? Thanks. |

@Red-Cipher:
I'm sorry but currently that is not possible because the bottom search field is using CTRL+F by default. I've created a ticket to allow enable/custom hotkey for the *old* search window In case you are talking about the bottom search bar, you can just open the menu editor via Settings and then check/assign hotkey for it

there hasn't been a traditional ctrl f function with JD2, the last version which had it was 0.9 or NIGHTLY. You have a filter function at the bottom toolbar, which the ctrl f or function f (mac) will jump to.

Yes, I mean the filter function (bottom search bar) is not showing.

Hi, I have exactly the same problem - CTRL+F stopped working after installing dark theme
@Red-Cipher @Jiaz: Could you give me more detailed steps? I'm looking for it and I can't see anything about "filter" or "search bar". |

@ffrreeaakk: the search bar is the search field at the bottom, see this screenshot
https://support.jdownloader.org/Know...w-to-add-links by default the CTRL+F should set focus into this field Or maybe you can explain your problem better?

Thanks!
I didn't have this field. CTRL+F wasn't working because my bottom panel didn't have "(Link) Filter & Searchbar" component. I found and added it manually in Menu Customizer. Now CTRL+F brings focus to this input field and it works as expected. |
