Example:
I want to create a filter which hides everything apart from files which are offline or unknown. Below filter works, but in Views pane I have to uncheck that filter to enable it, respectively to check the filter to disable it. I have quite a few filters that work this way: uncheck to enable, check to disable Please note that using isn't instead of is does not result in negation. That's why I file this feature request about adding an option to negate filters, in order to be able to avoid those contradictions. |

@StefanM: I'm sorry but I don't understand.
Please know that a matching View rule will bypass Filter rules. That means when a View rule matches the link then Filters are not applied/processed

@StefanM: You just want an option to tell View rules not to bypass Filter rules. So you can setup View rules that only work on list? Or do you mean something else?

With my example filter a checked checkbox means disabled an unchecked checkbox means enabled This is quite confusing! And I could not find a way to configure a filter the other way 'round. So, I asked for an option to negate any filter result: a checked checkbox means enabled an unchecked checkbox means disabled Just look at the name of my example rule: (because I cannot negate) Uncheck to show only Offline & Unknown files and hide everything else I have to remind myself, that I have to uncheck this filter, to get what I want, hiding all files, apart from Offline and Unknown that is. But I would like to configure that filter, that when I check the checkbox, only Offline & Unknown files are shown. The name then could be: Show only Offline & Unknown |

Actually it should read:
Switching the results of checked/unchecked checkbox |

Filter -> you enable a filter in order to hide/filter something View -> you enable a view in order to show/not filter something. you then can quick enable/disable this view in quickfilter sidebar in Linkgrabber Whenever there is a matchin View rule, Filter rules won't be applied/processed, links won't be filtered! a matching filter means the link won't be processed/added to list. a matching view rule means the link will be processed/added to list and you can later enable/disable the view

Es geht einfach nur darum, dass ich zurzeit Filter habe, die z.B. so lauten (weil ich sie nicht anders konfigurieren kann): Code:
Uncheck to show only unknown and offline files Heißt: Ich muss das Häkchen entfernen, damit mir nur Unknown und Offline angezeigt werden.
