Hello

Private Vimeo videos used to download fine as late as Oct 2022. However now they do not. Inspecting the element, the embedded real url now seems very different, almost like it is broken into small chunks and assembled on the fly.

Is there a way around this? I can provide a link & password if necessary.

The problem is not the password nor your link.
The problem is even stated in the dummy filename and in the "Comment" field if you click on the added item.

Ah... So Vimeo changed their formats since last October.

It isn't something I can find a quick solution to.

Sure you can!

Possible workarounds are linked in the post I linked though those may involve using other tools than JDownloader to download such vimeo streams.
