IMGSRC plugin isn't downloading all (or even most) images - the error "File Not Found" returns even when the files are online and downloadable manually.

Hi,
the problem is caused by:

HTTP/1.1 404 Not Found
Server: ddos-guard

ddos-guard is a similar service like Cloudflare.

Please do not expect this to be fixed implemented any time soon/ever!

IMGSRC images download sporadically. Looks like this plugin was updated on 1/9 - problem exists since that date. Screenshots attached that show the issue in detail. but basically the files show as online, and can be downloaded manually, just fail in JDownloader.

No idea whether this helps, bit it seems like ddos-guard sets a cookie that might play a part in the detection.

I'm sorry but we won't be working on anything related to DDoS-guard any time soon.
Please either find other tools which can already handle this or wait or fix it yourself, we're open source:

Turns out they simply disabled HEAD-requests for single image download.

Thanks for fixing it, it seems that this service is being used more and more. Disabling the HEAD request means the app could not get the filesize before download. Well, that's not a problem as in the case of imgsrc we don't know the size until the dl starts 'cause the main link points to html file.

Do the download of better resolution images is affected with this change?

That's wrong.

The filesize just isn't displayed ahead of the download for items that are part of a gallery to save time.

If you add single image items, JD will check/display the filesize right away.

Small update:
Seems like DDoS-Guard will still sometimes randomly block downloads.
At this moment this may lead to "File not found" errors but in the near future- JDownloader should automatically detect such blocks, display a more meaningful errormessage and try again later.

As of build Fri Apr 28 18:52:11 CEST 2023, the app is throwing "Try restarting this link(plugin outdated?)"
